Hey Spotter

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 14, 2026 · Last Updated: February 14, 2026

1. Introduction

BlackOps Center ("we," "our," or "us") operates the BlackOps Center web application at blackopscenter.com and the BlackOps Center Chrome extension. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

  • Bookmarks & Notes: Page URLs, titles, and any notes you save through the extension or web app.
  • API Tokens: Your extension authentication token, stored locally in your browser and used solely to authenticate requests to your BlackOps Center account.
  • Twitter/X Engagement Data: Tweet metrics (likes, retweets, views) and AI-generated reply drafts when you use the Twitter tools on x.com.
  • Account Information: Email address and display name provided during signup.
  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., feature usage counts) to improve the product. No personally identifiable browsing history is collected.

3. How Data Is Stored

  • Local Browser Storage: Your API token and extension preferences are stored in Chrome’s chrome.storage API, local to your browser.
  • BlackOps Center Servers: Bookmarks, notes, and engagement data are synced to our servers over HTTPS so they are accessible across devices and from the web dashboard.
  • Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on our infrastructure.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve BlackOps Center features.
  • To generate AI reply suggestions and content relevance scoring.
  • To sync your bookmarks and notes across devices.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., password resets).

5. What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell your data. Your personal data, bookmarks, and browsing activity are never sold to third parties.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not collect browsing history outside of pages you explicitly bookmark or Twitter/X pages where the extension is active.

6. Third-Party Services

We use AI language model APIs (e.g., OpenAI) to generate reply suggestions. When you request an AI reply, the tweet text is sent to the AI provider to generate a response. No other personal data is shared with these providers.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your bookmarks, notes, and account at any time through the BlackOps Center dashboard. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
